Avanti Express started four years
ago as a sameday courier in the North West of England.
The company has experienced significant growth due to an absolute commitment to
customer service and specialising in two man deliveries in the
furniture, flooring and bulky goods markets, particularly to
residential addresses. Avanti has just completed it's fourth year of trading and has grown
from a standing start to a turnover of approx £1.5m, proof
that a quality service at the right price is always in demand.
Alex Reyner -
over 30 years experience in logistics and can boast a vast knowledge of
all aspects of the industry. His roles have included Sales and
Marketing Director of PLC with a t/o of £120m and Senior
manager for an international trailer and ferry business before growing
his own parcel delivery franchise from £1.5m to
roles and the growth of his own business were achieved by having a
commitment to customer service.

Joanne Holt -
works in the logistics department liaising between the customer
service team, the drivers and the end customers. This is a complex
role but Joanne is up to the task: "I have worked in customer
service for over 23 years including companies with Blue Chip
customers. I have had different roles from receptionist, sales
advisor, payroll and customer service. This experience has given me
a wide experience in dealing with people, just what is needed for my
role at Avanti."
