Rose & Grey has
grown and developed as a company it has out grown it's old delivery
partner in terms of the care and quality of service that they could
offer so director, Lyndsey Goodger, turned to the Internet to find a
company that specialised in furniture, particularly the large high
quality, heavy items that Rose & Grey provide for some of their
customers. Surprisingly Lyndsey found Avanti Express just a few miles
away and contacted Alex Reyner to see what Avanti could offer.
brief is more complex
than most delivery jobs, but one where Avanti can show off our
range of services. Rose & Grey's manufacturing
facility deliver the finished chesterfield sofas and armchairs to
Avanti's warehouse for quality inspection and repackaging prior to
delivery to the end customer. Unlike many delivery companies Avanti are
prepared to take responsibility and ensure that the end customer gets
the same high quality product that left the factory.
to the size of some of
the sofas Avanti puts two men on each delivery and contacts the
customer to arrange a time which is then kept. Where possible
deliveries can be made to fit around customers busy lives meaning
working time doesn't have to be affected. One delivery had to be timed
to meet the glazing company at the customer's ground floor flat so that
the the large lounge window could be removed, the sofa delivered and
then the window replaced. And we don't just leave a sofa in the hall.
Our drivers will place the furniture where required and then remove the
packaging and dispose of it responsibly, helping Rose & Grey
with their responsibilities under the EU Packaging Directive.
