Express present winner of NSPCC, The Crystal Ball with tickets to
Twickenham - 20th December 2010

Last week,
the day that Damien Grieves had been waiting for finally arrived. He
came along to Stockport Rugby Club's, Memorial Ground on Headlands Road
in Bramhall, Stockport to receive two tickets to the England v
Australia international at Twickenham on 13th November courtesy of
Bramhall based Avanti Express.
The Dad's
among you will appreciate Damien's excitement as on his last trip to
Twickenham he missed three of the five tries due to his son's
“calls of nature”.   I
am really looking
forward to this match and hoping to make up for missing those tries
last time Damien said in discussion with Mike Drew, Director of Rugby
at Stockport.
Damien
picked a great morning to collect his tickets on the one morning
of the week that was bright and sunny. The pitches were in fantastic
condition so Damien couldn't resist the opportunity to place a few neat
drop goals.
The tickets were presented to Damien by Alex Reyner of Avanti Express
who provided the prize for the winning bid for the 'Swing Low, Sweet
Chariot' Auction Prize at the NSPCC Special Events &
Hallé 'Crystal Ball' earlier this year. The evening raised
in the region of £30,000.
